DD, Chanito, Spoon. I've changed my clutch with 112mm size with GY6 50 driven pulley kit on my zoomer Fi. Why this setup only gave me good acceleration but not for top speed? When I used 107mm the acceleration wasn't too good but top speed was good. Was it because of not enough power? I tested them at +/-300m flat road and result were, 69kph for big clutch and 72kph for smaller one. Could it be faster if I use 105mm stock size clutch? Please give me some "lessons" about this matter. Your comments really appreciated, thanks.

I've had issues with my polini when I installed it I topped out at 35 mph, running the 5.6g rollers. Put my stock 6g rollers in there an there wasn't a difference, went back to the stock variator and i'm back to 43 mph. You will have to play with different weights and get your polini running in the powerband zone and that can be frustrating but getting to 45+ can be worth the effort. I'm also using a Daytona shock from battlescooter, and it is such a change from stock it's epic. It made the back end of my ruckus sit a little higher but I no longer worry about bumps and what not. This is a mod that should be done first IMO. With an exhaust you will have to re-jet and there will really be no speed difference from stock unless you just want a louder noise then go for it . You will also have to re-jet for a new filter it says you don't have to but when I put mine in I noticed the difference and had to go back to stock. Unlimited CDI boxes scare me, as I've heard they can blow your engine going down hills and stuff. I just stay away from them. These could just be bad personal expieriences for me. But I just like to keep mine as close to stock as I can save for the polini that I still have to tune the weights on.

I know the Metropolitan has a taller gear ratio at the final drive but does anyone know the actual ratios of the Ruckus and the Metropolitan? Can any ridiculously taller ratios be found as aftermarket now?

I want to know if it's even possible to install a custom gearing that will get about 1.4x more revs at the wheel than stock. I want to get to 70km/h at the same revs that I get at 50. I have a little secret that Im going to install shortly that Rucksters would have killed for a while back. there's no longer any need for a GY6 swap when I get this up and running. It will be mounted to the stock ruckus and with some small changes to the final drive and variator you can possibly get up to speeds that will kill you by outperforming the stock suspension and braking but there are workarounds for all that thanks to all the GY6 swapping that has gone on. Scooters have lost a lot of popularity in the last 7 years lol I hope this isn't too late in the game.
