I still don't have a name, a gender, male, but no name... But here we are. I'm pretty happy with him so far so I took him out into the field behind our house and took some pics. He needs a bath, I found a dirt road today and with the 130 on the front and a 270mm in the back it was a BLASTY! Here is what I have done so far, in order: Came with: Renthal Pad, Grip Donuts, Sun Racing Fender decal Mower Filter Flipped Horn Relocated Horn Moved blinkers down Chopped up air box and messed up carb Went back to stock air box and jets Moriwaki Pipe 270mm white daytona rear shock custom "Eddie Munster" rear fender Camo Battery Box 130 rear tire on front Chopped/Lightened/Shortened brake light and bracket BS "Battle" sticker on brake light And tonight: Installed Daytona air filter, and breather on carb, remove all the stock air box/emissions components (I know ) That's all for now. Plans include, but are NOT limited to; Yosh pipe (paid for and on it's way), Pollini variator (should be here tomorrow), smaller blinkers (again, should be here tomorrow), cam, piston, porting & polishing, kevlar belt, kickstand, Chanito intake... Thanks, KP

I like it ;D You were my inspiration for the tire and the shock I'm honoured...you guys are gonna wet yourself when my Ruckus emerges from my spare bedroom next spring after a whole winters worth of work. We're talking new rims, forks, shocks, paint, LED tail light etc and an easy 50+ mph.

Thanks Kami. So this is another one for DD or anyone else who has ported their engines, did you notice a differance in the exhaust note? I went from the stock 14mm to about 18mm on the EX and from 15mm to 19mm on the IN and this thing is freaking loud now? I'm thinking maybe it's lean and that's what changed the note. Oh and I still have a backfire when I let off the throttle, which is ok because it scares people KP

I haven't actually done that much porting...mostly just port matching. I did enlarge the exhaust a little but only 1-2mm so I didn't notice any difference from that.
I wouldn't worry too much about your jetting if you're gonna be doing the big bore piston soon....the backfiring is kinda cool though. As long as it accelerates good then I wouldn't worry too much.

Nice work taken a vid! Your Ruckus is looking great....when are the 07 decals going on? They are on, they got installed yesterday and it was so nice here I just rode around all day. It's going to start raining and snowing tomorrow so I wanted to get some miles in before all that nonsense. I'll take another picture when I get home today, it looks SWEET with the '07 stickers, I got a little cocky too and put a Weisco sticker on there too... KP

I'm looking forward to the pics....you're really impersonating an 07 nicely. Where'd you put the Wiseco sticker? On the Bat box?

I'm going for the '06.5 Limited Edition 60RR, should be pretty funny to see what the girls at the dealership think of it when it's "done". The Weisco is actually on the top rear of the seat frame, so you can see it from behind and it looks die-cut because it's a white sticker on a white frame. I've been getting more props from Crotch-Rocket guys since the pipe and the Weisco sticker.... ;D KP
