So does this mean no Wiseco 41mm piston at all, or just no Wiseco 41mm piston for those who cant manage to get their own boring and replating so there is no exchanging of cases?

Well I think it means no piston for anyone until Chanito can get his hands on an engine. I know Robomod has offered to sell his because he's swaping in a 150cc but it might be a bit before that's done. Actually it might only be a couple weeks. I think he's starting the swap ASAP cuz he's already got the new engine.

My idea is to make a street piston kit so you install the piston and the engine would behave like the stock engine, and you can ride it everyday, but with more displacement and more power to make it more user friendly, i need to send wiseco a piston and a head, so they can design a piston crown that will not increase compression to a level that will make these engines run hot or overwhelm the cooling system, if i just send them a piston, i might end up with a piston that will increase the compression to very high levels or even worst have a piston that hits the valves or lowers the compression, since they have to run 25 piston on any forging, making a run of useless pistons is out of the question, i want to get them right from the beginning, maybe later we can experiment with higher compression or lighter pistons for the rider that uses the ruckus once in a while or want a super fast one regarless of how fragile they can be, if i can get a complete engine then i can send the parts to wiseco and when i get them back, bore the engine and maybe assamble it so people just have to swap the motor keeping the down time very low

Getting a good piston from the start is important, I just didnt know what was going on because I thought it was for sure that a bigger 2v piston was coming but then wasn't sure with this whole Ebay thing. Thanks

This big bore will be done, either by me and this forum or by somebody else, it is just a matter of time

Well 50ccchick is getting her ruckus work at Crower power and maybe they will develop a big piston and a cam and probably some head mods to get what we want ( more power ), i just wish they can keep their prices down so we can get some of those parts without having to sleep in the dog house

I was checking out the Crower web site and it got me excited looking at what services they provide for other bikes. I hope they get that Ruckzilla going fast, and maybe they will offer something like that z50 deal. You just send them the head they port it,install hp cam, redo the valve guides, shim it, and send it back so its ready to bolt on for 199.00. I am not hoping for this price because I figure getting parts for a z50 is like getting parts for a Mustang, they're everywhere and cheap, but this still looks like a good deal.

I know a guy who's selling the lower half of the ruckus engine block but I doubt that's good enough. I think he has the head too and quite a few other engine parts but he's already sold the top half of the case.

Yeah we need the cylinder part of the engine, i am hoping the people at crower power will do the big piston kit, they are the right people to do such a thing as they have the experience with motorcycle engines which i do not, and they can manufacture all the parts in house, they are working on ruckzilla so we should find out pretty soon

Well i guess we are back into the piston project as it seems the people at Crower did not go for it, cheers to our 50ccchick as she had some talk with the people at crower who are warming up her ruckzilla and manage just by swaping a cam to get .4 of a hp "at the wheel" which should be about 15-18%, i could probably go back to my 7.5 weights in the variator and be back into 43mph, hopefully we will know soon about the cam pricing, i hope she post the dyno graphs here so we can drool together

*slips in drool* as an aside, chanito, can you use my old crankshaft at all? it doesnt have a functioning yoke bearing, but maybe you get stroke info or rod dimensions, or something i dunno... it also has some decent (main) bearings on it, which could do in a pinch if you need backups (i dont plan on buying a bearing puller anytime soon.) >
