Oh okay... I'm down with that...if you make things a little more awkward to use but cooler then that's definitely an improvement.

I debated between modifying one or just buying the right one and I ended up buying the lowered BSS one because it fits on so cleanly and gives it such a sweet lean if you get the lowered model. Check it: (regular vs. leaned over) Here's a better picture of my scoot with the lowred kick stand.... ;D

Looking good Spoon! That 130/90 on the front looks like a tight fit but it does look good. I guess that's because you dropped your fender....does the fender flex and hit the tire over bumps?
How's the exposed, naked rad working out for ya? Has anyone smashed it in yet?
Oh for anyone considering getting a kickstand...the lowered one is totally the way to go. I've very happy with the angle it puts me at...it's not as crazy of an angle as I was suspicious it would be.
If you kids at home want real life view of the angle just take it off the center stand and tip it left with the kickstarter all the way down and the little foot pedal extended. With the lowered kickstand you can just barely use the kickstarter when it's tilted over because it comes about 1/4" from the ground.

;D I'd also like to know more about that front fender mod.

I think a Ruckus looks pretty handsome with no front fender at all but it's not that practical...

I had a 1938 Harley Servicar, which was a three wheeled flathead. This same type of trike was used into the 70's by Meter-Maids (I know but is was before feminism). I took all the parts and put them in a two wheeled frame. I used the rim of a continental kit, it was a stainless sort of wide loop. Cut it in half and used it(them) as fenders. They kept the water and mud out of my face but were real flimsy. They would vibrate at certain RPM's, voila! instant tachometer. I used an old car fog lamp as a headlight: talk about cheap modifications.
