I just whipped up these three patterns. A is a verticle image. B is a horizontal, like the one we've got now. C is a full size checker pattern where no two Rucks line up. I tightened up the spacing so they aren't as far apart, but some people might prefer them being closer. Well, check none of the above, then. I like C, because it took a lot of effort, and I don't like doin' things for nothing.  But being as how big the actual picture is, I figure A is the better of teh other two. Oh, I also cut out the mirrors on the black and red ruckii. |

Dan mentioned custom rucks, but I like that Honda had a similar shot of each of the bikes infront of a white background, so it's all very uniform. But all the shots of other bikes are in actual locations, and the background would be a pain in the "edit profanity" to cut out.  |

I agree that custom Ruckus's would be difficult not only to get on a whitebackground but also to get them at good angles and in good sizes.
My opinion is that whatever design we go with it should be washed out like the current one. Like Jasper said, the new background is already pretty busy and having the pictures more vivid just makes it even more so.
Here's my favorite background:
- use stock Ruckus pics but with cut off mirrors
- do it vertically
- wash it out at least as much as the current one, more might look cool
- keep the spacing like it is or a bit wider

These examples I didn't wash out, becuase that would have taken an extra 30 seconds to a minute per picture. And you know I'm lazy.

Well, now my tables lie, since they say I haven't washed out the picture, yet... I'm not going to change that, right now. I don't really care about it, shoulda just wrote a whole buncha mumbo jumbo, and talked about that honkytonk badonkadonk... That makes me laugh, everytime. |

They're looking nice! The only thing different about these backgrounds vs. the current one is that the new ones are vertical, in a slightly different order and they don't have mirror right?
All I can see that varies between the 3 tests is the order of the bikes. Is that right?

I see...the new links help a lot. I like the A because it's vertical, had the white Ruckus and won't be as hard on dial up users.
