I've done a bit of small tweaking to this site...so far I've changed a few of the board names and descriptions to make them clearer and hopefully remove a bit of the overlap.
I've also given the Big Ruckus it's own section and sub-boards.
If there are any changes you'd like to see please post them! Through your input we can make this site more visually appealing.
I'd like to change the background picture since it's 2 years old and put something in that's a bit easier on dial-up users. If you have any pics you think would look rad please post them.
Im also hoping to make the font's a bit more readable...maybe I'll lighten up the grey background a bit...
Your thoughts??

Oh, by the way...our member count is down to 891 from 905 because I hit recalculate because I was curious what that did. I guess it removed anyone from the count who has cancelled their registration. That means we can celebrate hitting 900 members again....to bad for who ever was the 900th member though because his special title says he's the 900th which isn't entirely true now but it still sorta is.
My apologizes for being too curious and for the confusion. At least it didn't drop to like 350.

:)I am impresed, with this changes, and very thankful of my new tittle, but i will be of little help as i have zero computer abilities, but i will like to thank DD and Tedsmini for this promotion and new tittle  I will also like a new background, maybe a little help from our God of cheese would be nice ;D |

Another cool benefit of being a mod is the ability to edit peoples posts so you can make them look retarded for a joke...not that I'd do this...  |

Let's see, some ideas...
You could make a section for the rides... like, section it off to parts of the US and parts of canada, and then other places... then again, it's not like we have that many posts on there to worry about it...
I would change the name of the Ruckus pix section to reflect the name of the Big Ruckus pix section.
Those are the only two things I can think of off the top of my head.
Let's see... I, personally, like the background image, but I understand the fact a massive picture will definately slow some users down. If you want to change it, we can all try to figure out something... but changing it to another good size picture won't solve dial-up issues. As for the color and stuff, I kinda like that, I'm used to it. I guess I'm not much for change, sometimes.

Mods can mess with people. I think Admins can do that, and mess with the forum.
I beleive that's the difference. If you want me to find or make a good background image, I'll start a thread asking what people want.

Okay...start the thread. I like our background pic too but I think it would be kinda cool if we had a couple different ones we could rotate. You can actually set up a bunch of different 'skins' (looks) for this site with different colour schemes and pics so individual users can choose their own look. Maybe I'll do that sometime so the old timers and new agers can both be happy.
For the background pic it shouldn't be of something too specific like a picture of a car because most of it will get lose behind the text boxes. We need more of a landscape shot like a mountain range, city skyline or a beach.

A picture of a Ruckus would be cool but I don't know how it would turn up because the middle 90% of the imagine is blocked. We could make the actual image tiny though so it's kinda checkerboarded across the background...that would be cool. We could actually feature pictures of the rides of members of this site and have like a background of the month sorta deal....

Well, I could whip something together where the background would be a wallpaper or Ruckii... I'll look at that option first... but landscapes are a good way to go...

Do you mean have seperate board for "Pics and Vids" and then another one for "Members Rides"? Or do you mean have like 3 different members rides boards for say Canada, USA and Europe? I do agree that a Members Ride board would be great because everyone wants to show of their bike and it's a nice organized way to do it. |

I like a rides section, but i do not know if dividing the country in areas would help anything now a section where rucksters can showcase their ruckii and what they do with them seems like a good idea ;D
