A 95 jet just means that the diameter of the jet hole is 0.95 millimeters. So a higher number = more gas = richer. The stock jet is a 75 and with a filter like this you'd likely need a 85 or so.

Well, jeez, why didnt you tell me jetting the carb was so easy....., anyways, waiting for a whole bunch of jets to come in, 78-95, every 2mm is what i got, so 78, 80, 82, 85, 88, 90, 92, 95. Hopefully should get er going well. Jetting the carb was easier than installing the filter, anyways, thankers for the help, will post times after all is said and done...

where do you get your jets that come in increments of 2? the BSS only goes up by 5 :S

I'm also curious where you're getting 0.025mm increments for your jets. I've heard a rumour that the BSS has them but they haven't been listed. Is this where you ordered them? I emailed the BSS about a month ago now asking about some unlisted stuff but they were taking too long to respond so I placed my order w/o that stuff. I think they have slow jets too, kevlar belts, clutch compression springs etc.

Thx, I'd love to have all those but at 10$ each I'll likely wait until the BSS comes out with a kit. Supposedly you can order all the jets from your local honda dealer. If you look at the part number for the stock 75 jet it's: XXX-XXXXXX-0750 (the X's being other stuff). Supposedly if you ask them to order XXX-XXXXXX-0800 you'll get an 80 jet etc. Someone posted like a year and half ago saying they did this. I've never tried it but the part number does end in ....-0750

88 to 95 is a pretty big jump... I bet you'll find 90 is all you need.

I have an 85 an use a big K&N open air filter, probably you need to shimm the needle or cut a couple of coils from the spring, 95 will be too rich

Im bogging huge at about 35 km/h , and it makes this horrible kind of grinding noise if get going faster, so, thats why im thinking im still to lean, if not how do i do this needle shim thinger , no really..... your ideas and thoughts greatly appreciated.

That's wierd but it doesn't sound like you're lean. Typically you are lean off the line and at low revs because you've got so much more air flowing but at higher revs the valves limit the airflow so you get richer. The idea behind shimming is to lift the needle slightly so more gas is allowed through while it's rising but once it's all the way open the shims have no effect so at 35mph shimming will do nothing.
A 'horrible grinding noise' is scary but it really doesn't sound like a lean bike which might cut out a bit if it's way lean but really won't sound that different. It sounds like it could be a loose variator or something. Oh, if it's more of a ticking noise then there's a good chance that your valve gaps are just too big. I had this once...the higher your revs get the louder it clicks but it seemed to really take it up a notch in the high 30's.

Well, figured out the problem/ possibly not the only one ...... stupid really, theres a leak in my exhaust either a) Didnt tighten it well enough after i changed the oil( doubt it, but anythings possible) b)That curb i clipped while sneaking by trafic did more than i thought, and i guess it wasnt a grinding, so much as everything sounded a lot louder when i hit higher rpms

A crack in the exhaust will give you a noticably different noise. In my experience it gets progressively quite a bit louder plus it sounds a little harsh like you're running the engine with maybe 1/2 the oil you should have.
Can't you just fire it up and pinpoint any exhaust leaks? When I had one it was pretty easy to spot when I peered under there. You should be able to feel the exhaust blowing out plus hear it pretty easy unless it's very tiny I guess.
About the oil change thing...what does changing your oil have to do with the exhaust? Why did you have the exhaust off?

couldnt get the torque wrench to fit in there to clean the oil screen, so i took off the exhaust to torque it up. I just checked it for leaks, and it seems to be fine, i put as much of it underwater as i could without getting water in the muffler. Read my other topic for the total syptoms, i think i got bigger problems, but who knows......

:)They sell a tool to torque that filter cover, is like a close wrench with a square hole in the handle for attaching the torque wrench, the tool will come with a formula for the torque reading of the wrench, which will be lower due to the extra lenght. Any way, your problem might be the variator and its rollers, have you check it lately?
