Well i finally finish my homemade air intake, but i am very disapointed , i just fabricated an intake by cutting a piece of 1 and 5/8 exhaust j pipe, and welding some fittings so i could hook the vacuum lines to it also, install a K $ N air filter and voila an air intake pipe, when i have the ruckus in the stand it accelerate nice but when i am riding, anything more than half throttle make the engine miss miserably, and the fastest i got was 30 mph, if you try to accel any more the miss begins and the speeds come down, so i will install the factory set up again, and i will order some jets from battlescooter and a spring for the vacuum chamber, i will post some pictures later on, the intake looks great and sound amazing, but runs terrible , i will try again and post a how-to on it

It sounds like a simple air fuel ratio problem. More air = more fuel, get your bigger jet in there!

Yeah it only makes sense that if you increase the airflow your gonna need to increase the gas as well. You'll likely have to add a nice shim in there and I'm guessin an 85 jet. Try covering up part of the opening with your hand when you ride. If that makes it go a bit better than you simply have too much air and are running lean.
