How silly is this question - since the pocket bikes use 49cc motors, could a person use one of these mufflers on the Rukus?
Please provide as much reasoning as you can...thanks.

Even though it sounds like a great idea, there is one little problem, most pocket rocket bikes are two cycle and our ruckus is a four cycle, the exhaust need of both are extremelly different, in order to increase volumetric efficency in two cycle engine you create a restriction in the muffler and that creates a wave wich keeps the gas from flowing thru the cyl, but stays in untill it is burn, four cycles engines on the other hand, do not like restrictions, the funny thing is that hot exhaust flowing thru a pipe cools down and contract and creates this weird pulses wich some times send exhaust back into the cyl, so to prevent this the mufflers have chambers to eliminate or make this pulses smaller. A good wave directing muffler can outflow a straight pipe. But back to your question, if you can get a muffler for a four cycle pocket rocket and adapted to your ruckus, great. But, most likelly it will be for a two cycle, so please do not even try it will choke your engine so much it will make you think you are driving a metro II, hope this helps you but please answer if it does or if it doesn't

Great answer - I just wish there was some way to get a LITTLE better sound. I do not want loud - or damage . . I might be frugal though.....
But again thanks for the great answer!!!!

Well I found that by removing the stock airbox and attaching any sort of wide open filter (mines a K&N) that I get a great throaty rumble from the main intake pipe sucking in the air. Its only a little louder than before but definitely not irritating. I get great compliments on the sound.

If you have a welding machine and are good at fabricating you can make your own exhaust, go karts race a version of the briggs and stratton and are required a muffler, now this are 5 hp engines (250 cc), the smallest is a 1 inch but it has a great sound and that is my choice, i am planing to make one next year, right after i finnish my own K&N intake, a great place for karting 4-cycle stuff is www.apskarting.com The part number is RLVB91 and cost 31.47 Remenber this is just the muffler you still have to modify your exhaust and weld it in. A great place to find incredible good books on engines and technical stuff is SAE.org ;D
