i've had my ruckus for a year now, and all i have done to it is change the oil, and add gas (i've never looked at any service manual for the bike other than the one it came with when i bought it). one of my other bikes is a streetplated yamaha ttr125le mini-motard. people claim that the engine on this bike was orginally was from a scooter. one of the popular engine mod's on this engine is to machine the flywheel down (people are machining close to a pound of weight off the flywheel) so the engine spins up faster, therefore, better acceleration. i don't know anything about the internals of the ruckus engine. is this an option?
;D ;D ;D

The flywheel is pretty light. You could make one from scratch. I added a engine page in tech on battlescooter. I'll have to add a flywheel picture.
