just wondering when i was reading the brochure about the ruckus when showing a friend i came upon the info that the compression ratio for the ruckuss is 12 to 1. Wouldn't that mean u need to run premium fuel. Any ways this got me thinking about if there is some kind of way i could adapt some kind of blower(forced intake) like a supercharger or turbocharger , homemade of course because i don't think there is one out there for such a small motor. Would u think it would be a good or bad idea. I read somewhere on the net about electric blowers used on small displacement engine on cars with around 2-3 psi of boost with good power results. This amount of boost on the ruckuss could make a big difference in power. what do u think as im planing a way of adapting this idea into my ruckus.

With modern stuff it's easy to run a high CR but if you add a turbo or supercharger your asking for trouble. A company did make a supercharger for the Z50 motor but it cost like $1500...no way! You can't use electric methods because the Ruckus(and most things) doesn't have enough juice to run them. Small turbos are even more expensive than blowers. If you can get your Ruckus up to 100mph you can use ram air to get about 1lb of boost How about that! Any way the company that made the blower is called power...something??? I can't remember, the web site was lame and never worked. It made me wonder about the supercharger.
