Nube here but I've worked on many Honda scooters. (Reflex and SilverWing to name a few) A very old friend of mine passed away and I got his 03 Ruckus. It had been sitting in his garage unused for 7 years. My first project is to clean out the entire fuel system. It had about a half gallon of gas in it (yeah bad gas). My questions are, when I disconnected gas line from underneath the tank nothing came out, does that mean it's clogged or is it supposed be that way because it has a pump and the fuel is drawn out of the tank? Second question, Does the gas cap need a proper seal or is it vented. There is a lot of rust around the gas cap on the inside of the tank. I have cleaned rusty tanks before but was concerned that nothing came out when I disconnected the fuel line. Thanks in advance. God knows you'll be hearing from me again as I try and get this thing back on the road. Tom
