Hey all! Appreciate any help in advance..
I was driving my scooter along as I always, do going about 30-35mph. All the sudden it wasn't responding to my throttle and started slowing down. I pulled off to a side street where I brought it to a stop/idle and it died. It won't start now.
What I've done: -Took the carb off and cleaned it. Wasn't dirty, everything seemed good anyways. -I then suspected a fuel pump not getting fuel to it, but I can hear the "clicks" when you turn the key on and pulled the fuel line from the carb and cranked it and it seems to pump fuel through it just fine.
I'm sort of at a loss. What else can I check?

Good on you for digging right into it. Hope she didn't quit too far from home. Couple suggestions that are dirt cheap and easy.
1. Pull the spark plug and check for spark. Make sure to use something insulated to hold the plug to the engine case.
2. Check your air cleaner, I had my cover rattle out of place once and it just killed the engine. Barely made it the 100ft back to the shop.
I hope its just something this easy that gets you back on the road!

Last night I pulled the spark plug (it was looking pretty rough) and replaced it with a new one. Unfortunately, it still won't fire. Double-checked the air filter, too. Everything seems good there and it was clean. Any other last-minute tips? I may trailer it over to the dealer soon as I'm out of ideas..

Last minute idea is your valves are too tight and the engine isn't able to compress the fuel. Pretty easy to check, there are a few how tos online to get you there. The dealer aught to do this anyway if you do bring it in for a tune up.

Okay, just for clarification, your scooter will not fire up or you do not have any spark at the spark plug?
Most of the time a Honda Ruckus will start even if your valves are out of specification. Don't get me wrong, it is vitally important to check your valves as it really helps to keep optimal performance, but your Honda Ruckus will still start and run. Shoot, I accidentally started my Ruckus up by accident without a shim. It started right up!
Here is the nitty gritty with motors. You need three things for a motor to run... 1. Spark 2. Gas 3. Compression
Here is some simple tests for spark, gas, and compression. 1. Spark: Remove the spark plug. Place the spark plug into the cap. Turn key on, turn kill switch to the run position, hold a brake lever, hold the spark plug cap to a bolt or a part on the motor, and hit the start button. If there is no spark remove the spark plug cap by turning it counter clockwise, cut a half-inch off the coil wire, and screw cap back on clockwise. If there is still no spark check resistance at the coil. If you need to know how to do this please let me know as I or someone will help you with getting your coil checked with a multi-meter. 2. Gas: Easiest test is to purchase some starter fluid. Open the airbox, inject some starter fluid into the airbox, put cover back on quickly, and see if the Ruckus starts for a brief second or two. If it starts you have carburetor issues. Let us know if it starts for a second or two and you need help with working with your carburetor. 3. Compression: You will need a compression gage to a good test, but if you do not have one here is a simple test. Remove your sparkplug. Place your finger over the spark plug hole, hold our brake handle and hit your start button. You should feel some good suction and air pressure build or go buy your finger. If you have a compression gauge and need to know the amount of compression please let me know.
I hope this helps and keep us posted on what you find out.
