Ruckus overheating and light comes on

Any ideas on how to address overheating.  The light comes on and ruckus does not want to run until it cools down and light goes off.  Can staff off for days and then comes back for no apparent reason.  Thanks very much!

Without being infront of your ruck I have 4 ideas that vary in cost/ease.

1. Your coolant level is low. Easy fix, pull the rad cover off , yank the cap and add more coolant. DONT TRUST THE RESERVOIR

2. Temp sensor on the head is fucked. Small probe on the LH side of the block with one wire attached. Cheap to replace and may have a bad connection.

3.The coolant is contaminated and plugged up somewhere, would require lots of hunting to find the blockage if it exists.

4. Your water pump is seized. Swap it for a new OEM one and hope for the best. Could check it by pulling a coolant line off the carb and running it. If coolant keeps pouring out its working haha.
