i looked but did not see a sticky on this. im assuming non ethanol is better, but do you recommend the highest octane or not? am I wrong in assuming non E is best?

The engines are designed for ethanol fuel as that's the most common gas out there. I run 94, but I have a big bore engine. My friend runs 87 with a 15% ethanol mix in his standard bore no problems whatsoever. It's up to you in the end but Honda does recommend standard fuel for them, at least they do in Canada. |

87 octane should be good, higher octane should not make a difference and it is just more expensive
