Hello, I recently installed HONDA RUCKUS AIRBOX ELIMINATOR KIT WITH UNI FILTERS Type 2 with the jets. It flutters back and forth when riding and lacks power. I started with a 85 main jet then tried 82,80 and 78. The kit came with a 38 idle jet. Any idea what is going on here?

Hey, Did you end up figuring out what the problem was on this? I am having a similar issue with my conversion kit.

I just did this same thing. Few things came up. 1) I had an air leak, so I got a new manifold ring and the rubber connector and some new screws to tighten the carb on. That helped. But 2) I didn't need to jet as high. I ended up with a 38/78. I may go back to stock 36 or whatever it is. And make sure everything is sealed off. Like that PAR valve and all that. And that your UNI filter is set up right, so it's not sucking in too much.
So air leaks from fiddling with it and not as much jetting. Honestly, I don't know why they only send the 85. it's such a big leap. I also made the mistake of doing exhaust at the same time. It makes sense, but my exhaust had too big a header and it took me two weeks to figure that out. So if you can, just do one thing at a time so you know where the problem is.

I just put on the same air intake on mine and the only difference i found was that it is way louder (hurts my ear drums to drive), i didn't find to get a power increase, so i just spent 100$ for it to make my head hurt. I re jetted the carb to what they gave me and everything else is pretty much stock. not sure what to do but going to try my other exhaust on that has a hole in it to see if that will help, I heard a aftermarket exhaust helps with more air to get out so i will see if it works with my "edit profanity". help would be appreciated because if i cant make it work stock airbox is going back on
