Hey Guys, I just bought a 2009 Honda Ruckus, it has 7600 miles on it. In terms of performance and visual mods: - CDI
- Variator
- Rollers
- LED lights
- Frame extention
- Gas Cover.
As of yesterday i started having an issue with the 10A sub fuse (headlights, brake light, turn signal, starter) keeps blowing. Haven't done anything to it in terms of electrical work. It was running for over three weeks (how long i have had it) without an issue with this. Now i have gone through 4 fuses. It starts fine with the kickstart, but obviously no horn/turn signals/ brake light due to the fuse.
I followed the service manual to see what the issue could be. Battery has proper voltage, no ground issues from ECM, or starter/alternator, main relay is fine. Tested the Starter relay to see if it was the problem per quite a few threads. I didn't get to test the load relay, and the red/green and yellow terminals of the starter relay. Everything works when a new fuse is put in and works for about 3-4 starts. Anyone know what could be the issue? or how to trace it back?
Note: I currently can't get the front cover of the battery box off as the PO red locktite the crap out of the headlight bracket. so access to some wires is somewhat difficult.
