Just got an 08' ruckus and decided to replace the brake shoes and tires (front and back).
Did this successfully but now the speedo doesn't register any speed. I can't figure out how it comes out at the wheel end but checked at the top end and the cable spins when scoots is moving. Tightened this but still no luck in the speedo reading. Any suggestions much appreciated!

try putting some resistance to that wire there should be some power transmission coming through. Try hooking up something into the speedo (qtip?) and spin it, if it registers a speed its fine and you just arent connecting properly. Other than that, the speedo is dead simple.
