I am ready to refuel my new (used) Ruckus for the first time - how do I get the gas to pump in CA where all the pump nozzles are fitted with the anti-pollution sleeves? I can't fit the nozzle all the way into the tank with that bar across the middle. Thanks for entertaining - and hopefully answering - my stupid question!

get a gas can. fill that. refill at home. i had a steel water bottle i used as a backup storage on my old bike because i hated filling at a pump extra liter was always enough to get home when needed.

Pull back on the vapor recovery rubber and hold it back and the fuel will flow, it bypasses the shutoff mechanism when you do that.
