I purchased a used Ruckus a few days ago and I'm having some, what I believe to be electrical problems. Whenever I put the key in the ignition and turn it to "on" it clicks one and everything lights up, and then immediately clicks again and goes off. Then, if I go to push start, a loud, fast clicking noise comes from around the starter relay. I know it's this because you can actually feel it clicking if you touch it.
So far I've replaced both battery and starter relay and am having the same problem. I ordered a power relay from eBay that should be getting here in a few days.
I saw on an old thread here someone mentioned checking the metal part behind the fuses is making a good connection to the starter relay and the main 10a fuse, but I'm not sure if mine is or not because they didn't explain what to look for.
It also won't kickstart. The guy who sold it to me mentioned the fuel pump needed replacing so I did that. Now there is no fuel in the engine and there is zero compression when I kickstart it. Also, the kickstarter doesn't retract back up. I took it apart last night and cleaned off any rust or gunk and it didn't make a difference.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm so desperate to ride!

Zero compression?? That's very bad. I would double check that again. I am having similar issues with my fuel pump. From what I understand you should hear a couple clicks come from your fuel pump when you turn the key on. The pump is supposed to oscillate in order to pump fuel. If you don't hear it pump a few times you might have a problem with the ECU just like I am having. Leave the key on with a bigger battery coupled to your battery (like jump starting a car) check to see if your pump is getting hot. Mine gets very hot. I assume it works like a solenoid and must oscillate to work correctly but with a bad ecu it will just stay on and get hot.

the "one click on, then off" symptom occurs when the fuel pump is disconnected from the bike.
really, really, really double check that the fuel pump is connected properly to the harness.
your kick starter won't work without a working fuel pump.
you say that you replaced the fuel pump, but did you....really?

Similar problem on my'09. Frog, thank you! I had planned to replace the fuel pump and disconnected it, then I tested the plug for spark and had zip. Upon reading your reply, I hooked the pump back up and had spark, and now a running Ruck. You saved me, Frog!
