2006 metropolitan doesn't want to start hardly, and will stall if any gas is given. After a half hour at idle it runs perfectly though. So Replaced small jet, fuel filter and fuel pump. Carb is clean, battery is good, air filter good so my plan is to tweek the fuel mixture and if that fails check the valve gap sound reasonable? So I don't have the shop Manuel. Top and bottom which is exhaust and intake? What are the gap numbers? And I don't really wNt to buy the whole shim kit and I really don't know what size diameter to get them anyways. Do you have a source or size for shims? your thoughts on this are apreciated.

The intake valve is on top and the exhaust is on bottom.
Intake ------0.004 +/- 0.001-----METRIC IS 0.10 +/- 0.03
EXH -------0.007 +/- 0.001----METRIC IS 0.19 +/- 0.03 You might want to check if the auto choke is working properly
