An oil change is a must, maybe cleaning the mesh, by careful if you overtighten it, it will break, check the air filter and fuel filter and replace if needed. And the obvious, air in the tires, coolant level and tighten the batt terminals

i usually change the oil every 1000 miles and i think its over due. the coolant level is almost below the (lower) level where should it be filled to? and what coolant is recommended for the ruckus? i checked the break arrows and i know if they line up its time to replace them, the two arrows are almost lined up with each other on the rear and the front line up still has more time. would changing the breaks need to be done?

The brakes should be "checked" if the lines align, and the shoes replaced if they are worn, but mine are still good with almost 10k of hard driven miles, however flat south Florida is usually very kind to brakes
