"Old School" meets "High Tech" with this New Offering from Honda...my Local Honda Dealer let me spend about an hour on this fine machine last week to evaluate it for Them. Quickest, sharpest Throttle Response I have ever seen on a Stock Bike, ever...!!!...Handling is very neutral, just "point-n-shoot". It also lays over on it's side with none of the dreaded "fall off center" feel. Great Brakes, and the Bike feels super light as soon as it starts moving. Having owned and ridden some of It's "Dinosaur Relatives" back in the day, this Bike's New Tires, Wheels, and especially the Fuel Injection, have made a Modern Performer out of an Old Classic. The Classic Looks were retained, right down to the Round Instrumentation.....GREAT BIKE.....!!!...here I am giving it the skuuter Thumbs Up after returning it to the Shop.....Check One out if You get the chance..... ;D

Got to ride Another One of These yesterday....my Buddy sold His 2 Ruckus Scooters, and His Honda 230 Motard and bought one of the 1100s for Him, and a PCX150 for His Wife....This is just such a Quick, Fun, Neutral Bike.....!!!!!.......Bad thing is, we're down to only one Ruckus (my last one owned by my Buddy, Kenneth), and one Metro (Pat, owner of a BP Station ) in my Local Area. Everyone has gone to PCXs, Silver Wings, or Burgmans. We used to have Ruckus Scooters everywhere, but even the College Kids at the University of the South on Monteagle Mountain have gone to mostly PCX Scooters, or 150-250cc Chinese "knock-offs". Most cite "Lack of Speed" as Their primary reason for losing interest in the Ruckus.....Honda, where's that 125cc Ruckus You Guys carried from Show to Show a few years ago..... ??.....

Honda did a beautiful job with the CB1100. I just wish they'd come out with a lower displacement version. A similarly good looking CB300, CB400 or CB500 would be something I'd be buying. Too bad the other CB's just don't have the classic lines.
I'm still rocking the Ruckus, but yeah eventually they'll come a day when I'd like a full speed bike. I wish Honda had a mid-sized Ruckus. Maybe they'll do a Big Ruckus II as a spin off of the Forza, but realistically it would probably suffer from the same shortfalls as the original BR. Maybe the PCX would be a better platform. It's close to 2014 model release season so I'm allowed to dream a bit even if I do get let down most years.

I'd love to see Honda release a Ruckus with a slightly longer seat and rear passenger pegs, about a 3" longer wheelbase, a "real" Fork, Front and Rear Disc Brakes, Twin Rear Shocks, Alloy Wheels, and the PCX150 Engine in it......I'd be on that Program.....

Yeah put me down for two. Maybe if we can get 5000 buyers than Honda will build 'em.

Wow, haven't been on the site in a long while. I sold my Ruckus maybe 13 years ago due mostly to job change. I sometimes think of getting another one but my current commute is way too far. I'm bumping this thread because my current ride is a 2014 CB1100 DLX. Pic below if photobucket will allow the link. A big air cooled UJM. Awesome
