I had the same issue with speed, I solved it by not spending 2-4 grand on a swap and just bought a 2012 kawasaki ninja 650r for 4.5 out the door. Much easier than doing a swap. There's a gy6 in my town that is clocked at 75 but he has much more done than just the swap.

GET for life. I'd never swap Honda engines are so reliable and well made I feel it'd be a slap in the face to swap mine. So that's why I just bought a faster bike and kept the ruckus as is.

Don't get into a Race with any of the Other 250 Honda Scooters with a Big Ruckus.....having owned several Reflex, Reflex Sport, Big Ruckus, and even an old Air Cooled Helix, the Big Ruckus is by far "THE SLUG" of the Group....that being said, the Big Ruckus sure is Fun, especially on Gravel and Dirt Roads..... ;D*****
***** Good Running PCX125s can leave one also, and the new PCX150 will totally dust one...!!!!!
