So check this out... I went to the Auto parts store and bought a set of fog lights. (Only needed one) I was able to mount one light to the top of the fork right above the front fender. The idea here is because the factory headlights are stationary, this fog light will shine light in the direction you are turning. Thus providing more visibility at night...! Let me know what you think... Attachments:

I really like this. What fog lights did you get? and where? Could you post some closeup pics of how you mounted the light.
Thanks for the great idea.

Thanks for the replies... I have included some pics below as well... I got the fog lights at Advance Auto Parts for about $24.00, and the box comes with everything you will need. (Wiring, Switch, etc...) As far as mounting it goes, I just used zip-ties. I suppose you could drill, but I prefer to avoid drilling holes when at all possible. I believe I used about 6 ties, of various sizes. The most pain in the a** part was aiming the light. You have to take into consideration that when you turn the light will shine more downward. Overall I like this DIY mod, as it does provide much more light (in turning direction) as opposed to just the stationary headlights. Its definitely not something that will have to be used all of the time, but I live near some roads that have no street lights at all; so I feel this was a plus since Im often turning into pitch black dark roads. I am new to this site but I have used two sets of those driving lights just keep an eye on them. I had two of the lights get filled with water and then short out and blow the fues on my truck. I have had no troubles with the other two lights. That is a great looking mod.

Well considering I dont ride in the rain, and my Ruckus lives quite comfortably inside my house Im not to worried about it filling up with water. I also used a fused link when installing so I dont blow any of the main fuses...

Creative. Good show! I tilted my stock headlights outward a bit to better see around corners. It leaves a dark spot directly in front of my tires so I rock a set of Taiwanese bulbs in Walmart fog housing rubber dip sprayed black with the inner grill painted red. Pho'resh. They go perfect on my bunny ears/chanito shield brackets!
