Ahh...A.K.'s India Pale Ale....the 'pride of Nova Scotia'! It's pretty common here in Ontario but I am surprised you can get it down in Miami.

I love Miami...I was there for a week last May and it was amazing....sunny, palm trees, cold beer, the ocean...there was a P. Diddy party going on the night we were leaving and we really wanted to stick around for that (we're not really clubbers but we figured this was gonna be sweet because it would be huge) but not everyone was 21 so we had to pass.

Hi, I bought some brake shoes from BSS and wondered if the blue paint on the sides of the shoes will be affected by high use braking? I guess what I'm trying to say is, will the paint come off in whatever sized pieces (dust/chips) and damage the hardware inside of my drum? I thought about sanding off the paint that's closest to the part of the shoe which comes in contact with the inside drum. I also here squealing in the rear only at low-speed braking and not so much during the higher speeds.

About the squeeling...squeeling occurs occasionally for me but something that you can't do much about....as your new pads wear in more there's a good chance it'll stop but other than keeping your fingers crossed, the only thing I can think of doing is trying some of the brake quieter fluid but I don't know if that is only for disc brakes or if it's fine for drums too.
About the paint, I wouldn't guess this would pose a problem because it shouldn't just be falling off in big pieces. If the quality of the shoes looks poor then maybe you have reason to be concerned and you could sand it off but I don't see this really damaging anything or posing a significant problem.

It's 18 to gamble (ie. buy lotto tickets) and 19 to drink but for a casino you gotta be 19 I think because there's drinking and gambling.

Wow! nice gambling and drinking tips, remains me of my Las Vegas trip, just do not drink too much and waste your time with a hang over (i did) >:(Now back to the topic, the best way to prevent squealing is use sand paper and do a crosshatch pattern on the drum and the pads, the paint will become dust, not chipping out, and is very little that can be damaged even if they do become chips, just buy a couple of cans of brake cleaner and spray everything inside the brake until is clean and then install your new pads, sand the drum and you should be OK, if after a while the squealing returns, get the sand paper again
