SOLD
Hi. I'm putting my Ruckus up for sale.
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Price: $750, delivered within 2 hrs drive of Toronto - less if you pick it up.
Details
It's a 2007 Honda Ruckus which has done 3,879 km, I kid you not. For the last few years it's just been taking up room in my parking space, for two reasons: 1) I bought a Honda CBR125 and I've been riding that instead. 2) There's something not-quite-right with the fuel system.. it seems to flood after being ridden for a while, and I've not been able to debug it. Once I bought the CBR I kind of lost interest in the Ruck. Poor Ruck. :(
It has a 2009 engine (The whole engine unit incuding the carb, airbox, exhaust, etc. and the ECU as well.) which has aproximately 1,600 km on it. After the original engine died I bought it from a Ruckus rider in N.J. who had done an engine swap. It has new oil and coolant.
It has the following mods: Brand new Kitaco Variator & weights (I don't remember what weight they are, sorry.), lightened flywheel, Michelin Bopper tires (apx. 100 km on them), Tiny Tach installed in battery box cover, softened and extended front shocks, Honda badges removed, horn rotated down, water bottle holder on the battery box and the foot board has been cut in two in prep for a frame extension that I never got around to.
In addition it comes with a slightly dirty and dog-eared copy of the 2003-2007 Service Manual, the original 2007 ECU, the original stock variator & weights, the original stock rear shock, the Honda badge for the battery box and a brand new spark plug which has never been used.
I have the Used Vehicle Information Package and, if you're serious, I can email you scans of it.. I own the bike, there are no liens against it. I also have a hand written recipt from the person I bought the '09 engine from, including their contact information, and I'll send you a scan of that as well if you're serious about buying the bike.
I'm asking $750 and including delivery within a two hour drive of Toronto. If you can pick it up yourself we can negotiate the price. :)
