My Ruck used to red-line around 45mph stock. I'm at 3,800 miles now and am in desperate need of a valve adjustment and prob a new Variator. As of now I am getting 39-40mph tops ! It sounds like I am reving out, will a new KN variator and a valve adjustment fix this ?

Ya know, I had the same prob same situation, but on my 09. Still not sure what the prob was. Hue jass of TR and I are neighbors and he shaved my v face, gave me a new stock belt, and lightened my weights by .02 grams. That got me back to 43 mph. It almost seems like I'm slowly losing speed again tho. I have a new KN variator on the way I'm hoping it will help.

 At those many miles more than likely a new belt, and valve adjustment will get you back in shape

Thanks Chanito ! Doing a valve adjustment today...Will have to get a new belt this week.
