I don't know if the file will play, I could get it on Flashplayer but not windows. Anyway, I have a winding noise that has grown in loudness over a week and now don't even want to ride it. I took the belt cover off and starts as a seperate, kind of grinding noise, and turns into a loud winding noise depending on RPMs. Any thoughts? Attachments:

That sounds like the back of your variator is rubbing against your engine, i would remove the variator and make sure there is no marks of it rubbing the area round the crankshaft oil seal, if it is you will need to get some washer in 14mm (not easy to find on the USA) or fabricate a couple yourself out of a soda can and some patience

Yeah, my buddy and I sprayed some silicon on the variator and part of the noise stopped. Soon, when we get a couple hours, we're going to tear it up and look inside. I'll let ya know, thanks.
