let get this right now..... 1.)take radiator cover off 2.)drain fluid in radiator 3.)put drain plug back in radiator then fill up with garden hose (water). 4.)then drain ...repeat till water comes out clear. 5.)fill back up with hp coolant from honda dealer and distilled water.....is this right or not?

sound about right, but draining the radiator should do the trick, rinsing the rad is overkill, but if it gives you peace of mind then go for it, do not forget to warm up the motor (running it for about ten minutes) let it cool down and then recheck the radiator and the overflow tank (the plastic tank under the seat) Also any good antifreeze/summer coolant in a 50/50 mix with distilled water should do the trick ;D

The Honda Coolant is premixed and needs no water. DO NOT use any automotive coolant. If it has silicate (to lube auto water pumps)and if found by Honda in a cooling system failure it will void an already shaky warranty.

There you go, a bunch of what we do, will mess your warranty, but in all honestly, that is just to force you to buy their chemicals, if you believe that then also use their 8 dollars a quart oil
