8-)I do not know about being a strong happy person, i am actually a big cry baby (just ask my wife) and certainly hate pain, (Ha, now i got way more than i can handle) but i usually active moving around all day long, and being confined to the bed was real bad, at least now i can move around the house, so is better. There is a saying "be carefull what you wish for, you might get it" I was always complaining that i needed more rest and time to read and watch TV, now that i have all the time in the world to do so, i am getting crazy

OK Joie behave, she is way too young for you On another note, i have the cast from my arm remove so now i can move much more, i have to get used to the crutches which is harder than the walker and my hand still hurts somehow With any luck next Monday when i see the doctor again, he will give me the go ahead to start putting weight on my knee so i can start walking again, and also go back to work To all the people that send me good wishes, i can only say that i am very thankful and i hope like rat42 said our paths cross, when i feel braver than now i will post pics of my leg with all the staples and a newer one with them removed

Well an update, this is depressing , for the first time since i moved to south Florida i did not go to the Miami grand prix. my feet swells up after a while of standing up and hurts, i still can not put weight on the legs, so i am walking around with crutches, my next appointment with the doctor is march 28, with any luck i would be back to walking after that At work since i can not do any tech work, i am working at the parts counter, looking for part in the computer and then giving them to the tech and charge the parts, the job itself is not that hard, and my coworkers have shown extreme patience with me giving them the parts in twice the time a normal walking person would The bad parts is that i am not a kind of person to work in an office so i feel like i am in prison, i just can not wait to get back to my normal life, sadly it might take me another couple of months before everything is OK

Don't let it get you down, we all have our ups and downs.
I've had a broken clavical, more sprained wrist than I can count a major concussion (I am missing an entire day of my life from my memory) at least two minor concussions a broke foot and a dislocated shoulder.
All of them a small price to pay for the fun I've had getting them. Except the dislocated shoulder. Apparently of all the ways dislocate a shoulder I picked the hardest and most painful way to do it, I do not wish to repeat that one.
Keep your head up my friend. ;D

Sorry to hear about the accident! I haven't been on here in months. I hope you are doing wayyyyyyy better! If your wife insists on you selling the scoots, maybe you should get a 3-wheeled motorcycle like the Skuuters. Do what kids do when their parents will not let them have something, just get something else! Have a great day and I hope you can scoot soon!
Bill,
