I plan on storing my ruckus and mu girls metro over the winter months here in michigan. I have a friend with a climate controlled garage, but gas still goes bad over time, should I drain the gas before I store it, or leave some gas in the tank?

there are some guys from up north that posted before saying all they do is add some gas stabilizer and then run their ruck for 10-15mins to get some of it in the carb.. then unhook the battery and thats it.. some even take the battery out and put it inside.. i guess it depends on how cold it gets where you are..

well it gets pretty cold up here in michigan, but im not too worried about the cold because it is going to be stored in a garage where it stays about 60*F

It is a very BAD idea to store any vehicle with empty gas tanks, is way better to run some fuel stabilizer and fill up the tank, then go for a ride around the park, visit some friends, and then store the scooter, next riding season just change the oil and ride ;D

ok, I also planned on propping the ruck on some blocks of wood, so the front tire is off the ground, Ive had too many issues with flat spots on cars before, dont want to risk it.
