REQUIRES USE OF A KICKSTAND, NOT COMPATIBLE WITH CENTER STAND ok, basically, remove your center stand and disassemble it. remove the cotter pin, bolt, spring, stand leg and if you want for looks, chop off the ears and reinstall with factory bolts and viola! a skid plate! my reasons for doing this were: 1. the center stand has no resale value, and its heavy so shipping is expensive. 2. the bottom of the engine is exposed and until i chop of the mounts on the engine for the center stand, this will have to do Attachments:

i wouldnt chop the actual hinge pin tabs off bc youd be cutting the welds out mostly that hold on that side of the plate. (the skid plate is actually 2 pieces) Attachments:
