aaaaand i just broke down and order more crap, a:
daytona cnc top clamp daytona digital speedo/tach
figured an actual display would allow me to accurately assess each parts contribution, so ill slap 'er on there and get all the gauges wired up and then take 'er out, and record the data as i add each mod, one by one, and again, all this will be posted in the aftermarket parts section in a couple weeks.

haha yea its totally modded haha i usually keep it in the bag but now i keep it there in case i dont have the bag and need the cord.
the kickstand got put on a couple says ago and im reusing the stock center stand mount plate to make a skid plate with ans reinstall, so ill put that up in the stock mods section soon.
the kickstand was all good one days 1-2 but now its like the spring doesnt allow it to stay down, the weight of the scooter keeps it down but thats about it, thoughts?? i know nothing about springs

sheesh i have had a bad couple days with this thing! tried installing daytona cdi- fail! i thought i fried something, luckily after some strange events i got my scoot to start up and run, w/o the cdi. so now im curious to give it another shot, but hesitant. also, have the red pulley spring and a new kevlar belt, new rollers and blue clutch springs in the mail

not sure, i just test fitted a couple close ones by eye at the hardware store, walked outside and bought the ones that fit. cost 40 cents a piece. the scoot is doing well now. got the CDI in right, all is well. waiting on the pulley spring til i get some heavier weights and a spring compression tool. putting the lightened flywheel in today.
also have a tail light short to fix. i think one of the connections is loose. so some soldering will fix that quick.

but if i dont like the pulley spring and heavier weights then im going to remove it and use 6g met weights, the best around. also shaved the boss down to 35.14mm which im not sure if i recommend yet or not.
BY FAR THE BEST MOD AFTER UNI FILTER AND DAYTONA VARIATOR IS THE BLUE CLUTCH SPRINGS!!!
holy geez these things are sweet! talk about bang for buck, their $4!!
they basically are thicker gauge wire used for the spring and so it takes more to engage the clutch. basically your stock clutch engages at like 4500rpm or something im not sure, but these push that up to 6000 so take offs are at a higher rpm. basically faster launches! love them!

and the reason i stay with the stock intake box is bc i ride all weather and it lives outside, so i need max protection from rain and max seal. so this is the only logical way. but im telling ya, that UNI filter is no joke!

CDI is lame-o. im content with 10,500 rpms. the lightened flywheel i like, maybe its all in my head, but i think it goes. i wouldve put the pulley spring and heavy weights in already, but i failed to stay on top of my ever so slight oil leak, and today on my way to class my engine seized. score. so looks like the complete tear down and swap phase is going to begin sooner than expected haha.
