so i've slowly lost some top end over time (2 maybe 2.5 mph) and the guy at the honda dalership told me i probably need a new belt. k. looking at "how to's" though it lools like while i'm there i may as well brave the weights. i guess that's saposed to be a question. should i try and put new weights in too? it's an 07 with over 6k miles on it. do you think it's time?
thanks!

yep its time.......... at a minimum inspect them for flat spots but at 6k you got your moneys worth out of them.

I have 4k miles on my ruckus and i had flat spots on my rollers to the point that it was at the bare metal. I would recommend them. They are like about $10 a set from the honda dealer. I got met 6g weights. I also replaced the belt with a Gates Premium Belt PL30509
My ruckus went from 29mph to 35mph. Acceleration is alot smoother.

Yeah i think is time for the weights, about the belt, if you can get a 17mm wrench to go over the belt, then you need a new one as well
