my rear rim is bent i can feel it wobble when i go around turns as the wheel is on edge. not so bad going straight but i wish to get it replaced. I have found a 2006 rear wheel on craigslist and was wondering if these two scooters are compatible. i am trying to save a little by buying a used rim. also is rim replacement difficult? i could get them (local honda powersports) to put the tire on it for me cause i know that is probably a pain to do. i dont have too many tools but have a mechanic friend that could help me out hopefully. thanks!

As long as it is a ruckus wheel it should be the same, Metropolitan are close but skinnier

I was wondering about any tips for swapping out the rear wheel? The guy I'm getting it from had, last time we talked, not taken the tire off before and asked me about it as well, though I had no knowledge on the subject. If it is not difficult I should be able to manage.
Any specialized tools? Torque wrench? Or will a big monkey wrench do?

You will need a big breaker bar (1/2 inch drive) and a 22 mm socket, you will need someone to sit on the scooter press (squeeze) both brakes really hard and then using the breaker bar get the nut loose (righty or clockwise tighty, lefty or counterclockwise loosy)
