how much of the front down tubes do you remove to lower the seat rail? i have a welder and i want to do this myself.

what kind of welder do you have? and i guess cut as much off as you want it to lower. most people ive seen take the straight part out. post pics

the metal may be a little thin for stick but im not 100% sure

i've been practicing on light gauge stuff with the stick. i have a friend with a miller wire feed i can use if i need to.
