I'm close to buying a 2nd hand big ruckus from a used bike importer here in Manila. The big ruckus is a nice bike with a character and it fits my lifestyle. However, one thing that keeps me from really getting it is my worries about where I can get spare parts, including tires, in case of breakdowns or wear and tear. Is it true that parts from other honda models can be used for the big ruckus? How about the tires? I'm losing sleep over this. Looking forward to your advise.

Check out the Total Ruckus site totalruckus.com, it's full of info for the BR and the LR... Honda has stopped production of the BR, but some parts are available on eBay as well as various vendor sites you'll find on the TR site.... It's a good bike, you'll enjoy it.

I don't think you will have any trouble finding tires. And the drivetrain is virtually identical to the Honda Relfex.

I bet finding parts for the big ruckus should be easier in the Philippines than in North America, they are an amazing scooter ,, just wish they were cheaper when they were sold over here
