 Help need pick for a tach install dont know which wire to tap into if anyone can post a pic of the wire that needs to be used i would greatly appreciate it. I am still working on my idle mix from my first post and know i ran into a little extra cash to buy a tach sooooo please help thank you.

We need more info. Which tach do you have? Some like the tiny tach you just wrap the wire around the spark plug wire. Please read the threads and use the search function to find info. Thanks!

it is 29 dollar tach from o reilly says for 12 volt engines

I just found that one on there web site. It only goes to 8,000 rpm. The stock ruckus turns 8,000 rpm on the "05" and earlier and 8,850 on the later ones. If you do not get a CDI one that goes to 9,000 rpm will be fine, but if you get the CDI get one that goes to 10,000 rpm and if you do the intake/exhaust/cam get one that goes to 11,000 rpm. If you search on here, you can find out what other people are using. Thanks.
