Hey everyone
Dialing in my carb, what is the stock position of the idle stop screw on top the carb? How many turns out should it be from the factory before I start messing with the idle screw?
Thanks so much!!!!

There is no specification on how many turns out the idle stop screw is supposed to be. The idle of a stock motor should be 2,000rpm + or - 100rpm. If you have any mods to the motor, you can just set it by ear to the lowest rpm that is smooth but below the engagement of the clutch.

Thanks, trying to work out a nasty take off using the manual idle screw adjust ment. stock idle jet & 78 main, one take off she sputters & pops trying to get moving & levels out once RPM's are up? I tried messing with the idle screw to richen her up, but it got worse & now cant get things back to normal. GOing to get it all back to stock & throw a 38 slow jet with the 78 main jet. fun fun.... tuning my vespa P200 was so much easier than this ;-)
