Hello people, finally found an 07 Ruckus for 1177$ on Vegas craigslist. 777 miles. Former owner says someone backed into the lil guy. Battery box and headlight bracket are bent, cracked. Watery black oil. Oil stained air filter. Hubby, Vin, and I are having fun figuring out homemade fixes w/a lot of help from the Ruckus sites. Thank you for everyone's help.
Stored in our 2nd floor apt for a couple of weeks. Not too bad getting it up. On the way down, the guys in the pool were trying to figure out what it was. They said ride it down the stairs.
Took a trip back home into the boonies of AZ and NM. Fuel cost 20$ more than our usual trip. Didn't want to hassel w/Hoover Dam, went around Laughlin instead. Got a lot of smiles on I-40. Left w/Dad in AZ, he likes it. Got to get a photo of Dad riding w/cowboy boots and cowboy hat. lol
Vin will be getting laid off soon. We'll head back for some r&r&ruckusing. Then back on the road, traveling to the next big job..
