does it hurt to run a honda ruckus without the muffler, it sounds much beter without it ? ALSO only getting about 32mph, how can i increase it another 5mph ?

Depends, if you are running with any exhaust pipe, it is a bad idea, as hot exhaust gases just hung around the head, making it running hot, killing your performance and risking overheating the head, now if you are running a pipe just with no muffler at the end, no overheating problem, but it would slow down the gas flow from the engine, killing your top end and that might be why you are only getting to 32 mph  |

its a 2003 ruckus,,it has the stock muffler on there,i'm gonna keep it on there, but really like the louder sound without it.

You could also drill a few holes in the stock exhaust to get more sound like others have done or you could open up the airbox which would give you more airflow and more sound but then you'd need to start messing with the carb which can be a big chore.
