welp.. it was my first fathers day and when we got home on sunday.. my wife had gotten me a bonzai tree with a note from my son wishing me a great fathers day..
however.. as everyone at summer ride knows.. right before i arrived in Townsend, i got a call from my sister saying my dad was in the hospital.. they found him asleep and he wouldnt wake up.. after taking him to the hospital they found his sugar was real low.. he has been on a respirator all weekend with no change yet.. today they are supposed to do more tests.. so we dunno yet but it doesnt look good..
so im glad i was able to join the ride and get my mind off my dad.. he has lived a great life.. everyone keep him in your thoughts and prayers..

well.. thought i would post an update on my dad.. he's still in the hospital.. still not responsive.. they took him off respirator and he is breathing on his own.. BP is fine.. all vitals normal.. just no response.. he has an infection in his leg.. dunno what they are going to do with that.. however.. no change..
everyone keep him in your thoughts and prayers..

First off Dave, just know that you and your family will be in my and Carrie's thoughts and prayers. I'm glad that we were able to be there for you and have some fun during a difficult time for you. I can't wait to see you guys again.

thanks Mike.. Chanito.. its been one hell of a week..its been very hard to deal with especially when you see people in your family you haven't seen in many many years.. all of my aunts were there.. my nephews.. brothers and sister.. etc.. i am just glad that i did go and see him on memorial day and he was able to meet my son for the first and only time.. just getting back to work.. i try to stay busy that way i dont think about it much..
