Has anyone else found it impossible to remove your front wheel? I have a Metro, but I believe the Ruckus' front wheel is attached in the same way. The last time I went to change my tires, I figured I save some money, take the wheels off myself and bring them to the dealer to mount the tires. The service manual's instruction for removing the front wheel are as follows:
1. Remove front wheel.
I saw no pinch bolts, so I removed the axel nut and attempted to encourage the axel out. It would not budge. I applied copious amounts of penetrating oil and various amounts of force. I still could not move the axel more than the few inches needed to make the threaded end of the axel flush with the hole it goes through. I eventually gave up and rode to the dealer, without replacing the axel nut, which was clearly not need.
Has anyone else had this problem and how did you resolve it. I want to change my brake shoes, but fear the same think will happen again.

I had to use a punch.. but got it out fine, and after taking it off and back on twice, my threads are still fine..

once you take out the axle nut, find a long hard stick [no homo] i used a 6 in nail and hammer to punch out the axle, works everytime
