but I still think I could make something like that... of course, then I remember I'm lazy...
I thought the same thing, then remembered the same thing. I had that bright idea with making a kickstand form a cheap eBay kickstand. I have so many accessories for vehicles, some even (bumper & tailgate etc) for a vehicle I got rid of 2 years ago that I was gonna customize.
I call it my eBay wasteland..

It's hording, that's what it is... so that one day, when it's like Mad Max, people will come to you.
Yeah, I thought the foot pegs looked like they should be further forward, that doesn't look like a good place to have them...
I think a long while back, I tried to imagine what it'd be like to have pegs, there, since there's some on the Japanese virtual customizer, and I thought it was cool, initially... but yeah, I think it's not far enough forward.

What are you looking for? A red VW bumper or tailgate, LED headlight bulbs, blue LEDs to make your ride glow underneath, bar ends, CBR brake lights, red or blue vinyl grphics rolls, a VW Cabriolet speedometer, shift boots, sun visors or a box of about a hundred vintage uncut VW keys. Chrome Harley mirrors (that will never fit my Hondas), brake lever grips, silver coated turn signal bulbs, (dead) motorcycle batteries , a giant windshield from a Honda Rebel 450 I got rid of 5 years ago.....

Wow, I think you've got more junk than we have junk cars. That's hyperbole, right there.

here's my front pegs they are originally the unversal type for clamping on motorcycle downtubes but they fit just right on the footboard.

I like how Backlater is so cost efficient with stuff. I remember first seeing you on Flickr, with your RuckSack, a fannybag turned tank bag styled Ruggage.
But the reason I'm here was to again look at that bar someone is fabricating, nice design. What will it cost? I like it raw and unpainted, as paint would chip anyway.
I like Backlater's folding style too. I could get down with that and cheaply.

Yea, that's hot, I hadn't thought about painting my fender.
Show us the other view of the pegs (as if seated).

wicked if you dont mind me asking what did you use to paint the floorboard? Id totally opt for more of a chromish silver look but curious what you used, is it a paint?

the floorboard is made of diamond plate. You can get that from BBS, or cut it yourself.
