I'm charging my ruckus battery with an old battery charger that says "charge rate 4 amps" Plugging it in the amp needle was recording around 1 amp. I'm just wondering how long to leave it charging? The battery charger's only info is a needle window that reads from 0 to 6 amps.

I would charge for 2 hours and then get a voltage reading from the batt and see if it still needs more charge (bellow 12.3 volts) if it needs more do it for 2 more hours at a low amp setting and keep trying untill you get more than 12.3; if you get 13 volts or more put a load like a light across the batt terminals to get rid of the surface charge
