Temps in the 80s, I finally had to break out the mesh jacket. But riding back home at night is just fantastic.

yah.. wife talked to baby sitter.. we are going to try to ride every other saturday (weather permitting) so she gets more riding time before June ride.. cant wait.. one thing i have noticed though.. people must not know im on a scooter.. because yesterday i had a line of mofos behind me so i pulled off so they would pass.. "edit profanity".. bunch of passing zones they could of easily passed me.. morons.. this big truck drove past me in a gd turn.. made me hit this pothole..

Yeah, every now and then I'll get those people that won't pass, despite straights long enough to easily overtake my 35 mph white line hug. I just feel bad for the folks that get stuck behind them.
And of course, the people who wait until your about to crest a hill or going around a blind curve to pass. So many idiots.

I just want to share that yesterday it were the third time ever that I saw a ruckus on the street that is not mine. I did like: WOW! a ruckus!

i haven't seen a ruckus in my neck of the woods except in asheville.. but i do see a few scoots here and there..
btw.. i haven't seen skuuter post lately.. he must be riding all over..

we I live there are many scoots, about 20 at our school, the majority are bws(zuma), the rest are a mix of cpi gtr50, no name chinese things modded jogs and dios and finally my ruck

there are a few ruckus owners, one c3, one zuma, couple ugly vespa's and the rest are cheapo chinese ones -- at my school, and yesterday i saw my first big ruckus!
they look so much bigger in the pictures!

Well, today and tomorrow (and thursday morning if it has to) are final maintenence days. Thursday night we're going to a friend's in Morganton to shave an hour off our trip, then heading out Friday morning. Woot.

3:30 am and I'm about to go to bed. Did manage to get my new tires put on, finally. Haven't rode on 'em, yet, save a quick jaunt up and down the driveway. Have to take the long way to work.
I'll post a picture whenever I get around to offloading my camera.

Work tonight will pass the time, I guess. Actually, it'll probably go slow since I'm training a guy. On the up side, I'm not going to do any actual work.
Tomorrow, going to try to get in two games of disc golf (one in Hickory, one in Morganton) if the weather permits. And maybe eat some vietnamese (people?!).

IT IS FRIDAY.....well, Bill and I are headin' out this mornin' for the 450 mile round trip back to Estill Springs to get the Ruckus keys that "THIS DUMMY" forgot....see Everyone later today. I'm ridin' the DN-01, and Bill will be on Mitzie's Silver Wing....... ;D
