El Loco is the name Chanito's Wife gave me at the Fall Ride in 07, so I passed it on to my Ruckus.... I added a set of Michelin Boppers and a Formation Motorcycle clock to my Ruckus this week. I rode the tires for the first time today on my lunch hour. As most of You know by now, I do quite a bit of "spirited" riding on my Ruck, and live in a very twisty area with lotsa' tight corners, and narrow mountain roads. I ride a lot with pegged throttle, even through a lot of these corners with lotsa' lean. These tires have VERY quick turn-in and transition to leaning as compared to the stockers. Couple this with my 20MM longer than stock shock (also speeds up your steering response), and this is one really "scarily" quick turning & leaning scooter. Gonna' take a little gettin' used to, but I'll manage.... I drug my centerstand on the road in the second left hander I made....VERY QUICK. Probably start using more "hang-off-the-side", so I leave more on the table for "emergency maneuvers" just in case....... ;D El Loco......... This Ruckus has took a Lickin', and kept on a Tickin'........ ;D

I love having the boppers, but they do corner well enough to throw sparks from the center stand. I left an 10ft scrape going 35mph in a parking lot. My co-workers wouldn't stop making fun of me for finding a way to drift the ruckus.

I drug my centerstand on the road in the second left hander I made One of these days your old and slow self will catch up. I never needed new tires to drag the center stand that's why I had to add pegs to buffer me. One things for sure, we need to stay off that dirt road this year or one of us will end up a tumbled mess in the woods.

My New Year's Resolution was to ride everything I own "SLOWER" in 09, also promised my Wife (extra insurance... ). I've not went riding any this year with "JUST" my go fast hooligan Friends either. Just Mitzie and I, or my "more sedate Friends". If a group has been made up of a mixture of both, I've always led at a reasonable pace. Actually been gettin' used to it......... ;D Good to see You postin' more...'bout time.........

If you don't mind me asking, what is that thing on your left handlebar with the red post? That's his camera mount. I'm not certain what it was originally, perhaps a GPS mount.

Do the boppers really improve the performance that much? They do not appear to be substantially different than the stocks. Is there a psi difference?
