Hi all New to site and love it. Great reasource! I have 06 Ruckus and have basically bought all the upgrades I could find, some of which yet un-used. I need some ideas/help with my set up. i have the Battle scoot big carb kit, better exhaust,CDI box, Cold air set up, both polini and kn variators. i did the exhaust and cdi and air filter set up so far and play with the jets a bit and the thing runs well. i lost a little top end which i blame on kn variator from stuff i read on here. I'm a auto mechanic and know engines pretty well etc. Also i 180lbs and live in Pa. burbs with mostly open roads. Would like some advice on any level about what to expect when doing the carb job, and a recommend on starting jet sizes, variator weights, etc just about anything anyone who has been down this road with similar stuff can share such as problems to expect. Also I read months ago here about a air fuel ratio meter people are using to tune their scoots that was in $200 range but i 4got the name of it and if it was even worth the expense. Thank you ahead of time for your time and effort responding

I could be a dicky and say something lame like search but you took the time to make a nice post with commonly asked questions so I thought I could answer them to save you a bunch of tuning time.
Good choice with your starting mods.
I would say stick with the polini variator and use 6 gram weights. Use the BSS blue clutch springs.
Jet the carb like this, 75-80 main jet, 50 pilot jet, needle in the low richest postion, use a big K&N air filter, not the dinky one, idle screw pretty close to full rich.
Do this and the PC20 bog will be just about gone and you will be able to rip at or close to 50 mph.
