They have heavier springs, not lighter springs. I would like to see a better designed clutch for the ruckus. Something that works like the cams in a hunting bow. It would take a lot of strength to get half way, but very little to get the rest of the way. Meaning that we would have a higher launch rpm and firmer clutch seating.

good point, but still doesn't answer my quest. will the ones on battle scooter fit any clutch that fits the ruckus?

Yes they will fit. I have them and have thought several times about removing them as you don't get much of a result. The idea behind them is that you'll have a higher launch rpm and thus a stronger launch. Unfortunately, because of the design of the clutch, the new springs cause the clutch to engage more slowly. Meaning that the launch force is the about the same because of clutch slippage.

I've had the blue springs which launch at around 5K rpms and the pink which launch at only slightly higher rpms than stock. I like the pink better unless you like to rev a whole bunch at stoplights. Better takeoff with the blue but since a 4stroke motor makes more of it's available power in lower rpms compared to a two stroke it seems a waste of rpms and power to launch too high. For less than ten bucks it can't hurt to give em a try. But buy both stiffnesses so you can try em both out.
